Together in Birth (March 2023)

  • Wonder Births 896 Dunearn Road #03-03D Singapore, 589472 Singapore (map)

This courses unlike any other antenatal class on the market. Not only will you understand the physiological and psychological process of  labour and childbirth in detail, you will feel empowered with evidence-based information and tailored-to-your-body biomechanical techniques to find ease and comfort during pregnancy, labour and birth.

The workshop will be facilitated by Wonder Births Birth Doulas who are also Childbirth Educators, Movement Educators and Prenatal Yoga Teachers, and is designed for expectant parents who are looking to enrich their experience of labouring and birth.⁣ Comprising both theory and practicum, our teaching methodology will be practice-led, evidence-based and trauma-informed - this means that you will be receiving the latest up-to-date research on birthing options and practices from active birth workers in the field. We will take a deep dive into:

  • applied anatomy & childbirth physiology

  • individualised postural & gait assessments to move and feel better during pregnancy and labour

  • tailored exercises, myofascial releases and manoeuvres to your anatomy and mobility range

  • the role of hormones and the psyche on your birth

  • knowing your birthing options and mapping your birth to get your voices heard

  • understanding birth supports & interventions, from pain relief to inductions
