We engaged Dewi as our labour and birth doula, as well as our postpartum doula. She transformed our birth experience. I have no doubt that she made my labour shorter. She is specialised in helping moms understand how to push during labour, in a way that much exceeds what typical doctors and nurses can do or has time to give you, as she gives you dedicated 1-1 attention that helps you through the mental and physical hurdles that you experience during birth. She also understands the different healthcare providers in Singapore well, so she saved us a lot of time from trying out different obstetricians, lactation consultants etc as she can recommend choices based on her understanding of you as a couple. Lastly, she made our breastfeeding journey much easier, and I'm sure she made my milk supply come in much faster than if I had tried on my own. She was there to guide us through the critical stages of our newborn's first latch post birth, and helped me through the different stages of milk production and the issues that came with it in the first few weeks post birth.
